Her (upon being served a bowl of delicious creamy potato bake): "I don't like potatoes."
Me: "What do you mean you don't like potatoes? What about chips?"
Her: "I LOVE chips!"
Me: "Well, chips are made from potatoes."
Her: "No, they're not."
Me: "What are they made from then?"
Her: "Salt."
Me: "Of course..."

  1. LOL. I have the same issues in my house. Apparently chips and mashed potatoes come from different potatoes. Hence, none of my boys will eat mashed potato. Unbelievable.
