For me, there's nothing like the promise of a new notebook. This one was a gift and has already inspired four pages of rapidly scrawled prose (more than I've managed in a shamefully long time). I'm still to master the skill of writing with children hanging off every limb (mine don't sleep during the day, and if they do, they sleep on me!), but I'm sure it's possible...

  1. Keep at it - I've got four and I try to write whenever I can, even if it's just in little spurts. I think I would just fade away if I didn't get a little writing time each day!
